County Councillor, South Oxhey ward, Three Rivers District Councillor, South Oxhey ward

Joan lives in Blairhead Drive, and has been campaigning for local people for 30 years.  She is determined to represent the interests of South Oxhey people to the County Council.  The County Council provides services for children, schools, libraries, environmental services, older people and people with disabilities, consumer affairs, highways.  If you have problems in any of these areas, please let Joan know and she will advise you.

Joan is also a Parish Councillor.

Joan's boiler battle win

When Phil Levasseur of Prestwick Road had his boiler condemned. Thrive Homes made no effort to replace during the cold snap last month saying it would take weeks. Phil contacted Labour's County Council Candidate Joan King and she stepped in. "Joan got a new one installed in a jiffy . I’ll certainly be there voting for her on Thursday” said Phil.
